Bollywood

There have been quite a few films over the past few years that have propelled the Bollywood  film industry to new heights.  Films such as Slumdog Millionaire gave people an insight into the lives of people living in the depths of Mumbai.  India is another place I have worked and spent time in.  It has very extreme levels of richness and poverty, I found it quite hard to take in especially in Mumbai.  Although there is some fantastic culture and history, I don't get how people can live such extravagant lives while there are whole families living at the side of motorways.  I find Indian weddings and the whole culture of Bollywood really inspiring and I think there are definitely many things that can be used within the project. I don't know if this is the root i'm going in this particular project but it was definitely interesting to look at.
